She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Jones and Bessie Smith Jones; and her son Lee Dewayne Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Lee Otis Thompson; her son Darren Thompson (Jackie); her grandchildren, Ava Rose Thompson, Eli Thompson and Rainalee Thompson; and her siblings, Carolyn Jones and Jim Jones. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home (106 Cherry St, Pineville, KY 40977). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
