With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Gayle Rust of Bowling Green, Kentucky, who passed away on August 1, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Wade Hicks Sr. and Annie Floryde Dent Hicks; and her brother James "Jim" Hicks. She is survived by: her husband Larry Rust; her sons, Cole Rust (Melanie), James Rust (Mary Carter) and Matthew Rust (Sarah); her brother Claude "Bud" Hicks Jr. (Marilyn); and her grandchildren, Jaxon, Kylie, Wyatt and Ellie Rust.
