She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby May McKinney Turner and Raymond G. Turner; her former husbands, Terry Keith and Lee Rakes; her husband Donald Lee Simmons; and her sister Lorain Cline.
She is survived by: her siblings, Maxine Gibson, Gladys Baker (Bill), Aleine Banks (Ron) and Wayne Turner (Janet); and her stepchildren, Rita Caswell (Bill), Lisa Napier (Tim), Leslie Simmons (Delta) and Lee Simmons (Julie). She is also survived by six step grandchildren; five step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
