He was predeceased by: his parent Shirley Cartwright; and his siblings, Gregory Cartwright and Debbie Kukula. He is survived by: his wife Bertie Cartwright; his children, Alex Cartwright (Michaelah), Whitney Whitaker (Travis), Eleah Huff (Ozzy), Crystal Helzer (Travis) and James French; and his close friends, Sharon Paker, Rodney Smith and Stacy Curtis. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and one great-grandson; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home (536 Bradford Rd, Beechmont, KY 42326). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at the Mt. Moriah Cemetery (181 Mt Moriah Rd, Dunmor, KY 42339).
