He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Owen and Marian Evelyn Spolestra Hale; his wife Joan Mary Ravas Hale; and his siblings, Pearl Frushour, David Hale, Anne Hale Eick (late John) and Lois Elaine Hale.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nola Thompson (Kevin) and Vicki Hale of Bowling Green; his grandchildren, Kayla Ray (Keith) of Smiths Grove, Timothy Minton (Christin) of Smiths Grove, Derek Thompson of Baton Rouge, LA and Aleah Thompson of Bowling Green; his great grandchildren, Colton, Raeleigh, Brylee, Isaac, Evan, McKinley and Cora; his siblings, Ruth Hearn (Lee), Elinor Gene Grabosky (late Lenny), Richard Hale (Melva), Kenneth Hale (Brenda), Alice Hale, Stephen Hale (Michelle), Philip Hale (Crystal) and Karen Grau (Hiram); and his sister-in-law Marilyn Hale (late David). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and special friends.
