He is survived by: his wife Siang Hlia; his children, Lal Hlim Pui, Siang Tin Sung, Chan Cung Lian, Johnathan Lian and Maryna Biak Hnem Chin; his father Tial Awi; his brothers, Jacob Ngun Chun, Kawl Uk, Tha Thluai and Zing Khen; and his brothers-in-law, Sui Men Tial, Za Khar, Cung Lian Thawng, Kham Nawl and Tuan Sang.
