He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Minton and Maggie Manco Minton; and his siblings, Hester, Flossie, Pearl, Billy, Hobert, Frankie, David and Bobby Joe.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Minton; his children, Jerry Minton (Donna), Terry Minton (Susan), Keary Simpson (Loretta), Sandra Hurt (Michael) and Tina Parkhurst (Wayne Embry); his siblings, Irene Hale and Donald Minton; and his grandchildren, Aaron, Chad, Josh, Julia, Eli, Colton, Lyndsey, Emily, Joseph, Danielle, Mallorie, Traver and Brettni. He is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren.
