It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard E. Gensler of Bowling Green, Kentucky, who passed away on October 10, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Gensler and Marie Knetzger Gensler; his brother Tom Gensler; his son Phillip Gensler; and his granddaughter Lindsay Nicole Gensler.

He is survived by: his wife Cindy Mercer Gensler; his children, Mike Gensler (April) and Linda Green (Carlthell); his daughter-in-law Dana Gensler; his grandchildren, Melissa Keeling (Michael), Katie Rose Poole (Brandon) and Cole Gensler; and his sister Jean Vicenzi (Elio).
