He was predeceased by: his parents, Tessie Ray Harris and Beverly Irish Harris Wells; his stepfather George M. Wells; and his son Benjamin J. Harris. He is survived by: his son Austin R. Harris of Albuquerque, NM; the mother of his child Mari Rector Harris of Bay St; and his siblings, Laura Harris News (William Jack News) of Dalton, GA, Jack Jay Harris (Richard Lee Russell) of Atlanta, GA and Diana Harris Revolinski (Gregory Allen Revolinski) of Viera, FL. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
