He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Brumley and Jenny Lou Brumley (Newbold); his wife Lora Ann Brumley (Williams); and his brothers, David Brumley and Ben Brumley.
He is survived by: his daughter Savannah; his son-in-law John Darr (River Runners); his grandson Barrett Darr; his sister Laura McKinney (Tyler); and his siblings-in-law, Susan Brumley, Jerri Purkerson (Kevin), Carmen Hodge (Thomas) and Gary Kettering. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Jc Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel (820 Lovers Ln, Bowling Green, KY 42103). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Rob's memory to Leave No Trace, American Whitewater, or the Kentucky Fish & Wildlife Foundation.
