He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hildreth Hurt and Elizabeth Edine Cole. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Jones Hurt; his children, Michael Humes (Tracie), Debra Hurt LaSala (Michael) and Jodi Hurt Sewell (Matt); his grandchildren, Madeline Humes Baker (Trey), Malorie Humes Trimmer (Logan), Layton Humes, Kaitlyn LaSala, Kaylee LaSala, Kendyl LaSala, Eva Sewell, Layla Sewell and Charlie Sewell; his great grandchild Keller Baker; and his brothers, Jerry Hurt (Ellen), Steve Hurt (Cindy), Mike Hurt (Janet) and Johnny Hurt (Tammy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
