He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Colter Riggsbee; his parents, Dewey Riggsbee and Katie Butler Riggsbee; his siblings, Larry Riggsbee, Bertha Glass, Patricia Manning and Sue Riggsbee; and his great grandchild Esma Traughber.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Riggsbee Jr. (Dianna), Margaret Raymer (Cliff) and Mary Riggsbee; his grandchildren, Kenneth Riggsbee, Brittany Riggsbee, Melanie Traughber (Seth), Stephanie Byrns, Charles Byrns, Robert Byrns (Amanda), Destiny Groves, Alexus Jessup, Cadillac Jessup and Zyrion Pillow; and his siblings, Dean Riggsbee, Joann Williams and Carolyn Riggsbee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
