He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Ellis and Madeline Easley Ellis; his granddaughter Misti Ellis; and his siblings, Infant Charles Ray, Van Ellis and Glenda Houchens Rigdon.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Ellis; his daughter Laura Talley; and his grandchildren, Robbie Ellis, Alan Ellis, Amber, Michael, Mariel and Ashley.
