With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rondall Lamar Thornton (Bowling Green, Kentucky), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Rondall Lamar left this world on May 28, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Porter Thornton and Edna Thornton (Gaddie); his wife Amy Earl Thornton (Pearson); his son Tony Thornton; his granddaughter Heather Blair; and his siblings, Bill, Roger, Larry Thornton, Patty Jo Watts and Teresa Mary Thornton.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Thornton (Denise) and Tom Thornton (Sheila); his daughter-in-law Denise Ann Thornton; his brother Ken Thornton (Jean); and his grandchildren, Kirstie, Brad, Bryan, Kody, Jason, Jeffrey, Arien and Joshua. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel (820 Lovers Ln, Bowling Green, KY 42103). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
