He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Francis and Esther Alice Montgomery (Martin); his wife Carolyn Yvonne Bennett; his daughter Valarie Bunch; his grandson Cory Kelly; and his siblings, Cleo, Roy, Guy, Lonnie, Reginald, Arlin, Vernon Montgomery, Janice Chiles and Wilma Miller.
He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Campbell (Calvin); his grandchildren, Justin Campbell, Mihayla Campbell and Nicole Kelly; and his close friends, Polly and Dawn. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and his helping neighbors.
