We are sad to announce that, on September 26, 2022, at the age of 97, Ruby Morene Pounds of Bowling Green, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James R. Wilkins and Alie House Wilkins; her husband John Pounds; her daughter Linda McConnell; her stepson Larry Pounds; and her siblings, Onie, Ivan, Homer, Bradford, Joe, Russell, Gene Wilkins, Dora Terry, Elsie Douglas, Lois Hayse, Lorene Rodriguez and Lottie Sanders.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Higginbotham, Garry Pounds (Gale) and James Pounds (Genie); her sisters, Joyce Etter and Betsy Merchant; and her pet Fern. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren.
