She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Waters and Dolly Dimple Waters; her husband Robert Douglas Anderson; her siblings, Bessie Waters, Bobby House, Frank, John, George and Hurman Waters; and her stepson James Calvin Douglas Jr..

She is survived by: her daughters, Ruth Ann Matos (Joey) and Juanita Maria Harris (Wade); her significant other James "Andy" Douglas Sr.; her stepson Courtney Douglas; her siblings, Minnie Sue Riddle (Mark), Willie and Henry Waters; and her grandchildren, Hayden Anderson, Jaelyn Harris and Wyatt Mesker. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
