She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Muzzio and Anna Muzzio; her husband Arthur L. Coad, Sr. of Bowling Green, KY; her son Arthur L. Coad, Jr.; and her brother Carl Ray Muzzio of Solon Springs, WI..

She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Baranyi (Rick) of Hendersonville, TN; her grandchildren, Tara Redd (Donald) of Hendersonville, TN, Jennifer Stoces (Christopher) of St. Charles, MO, Tate Baranyi of Danville, IN and Arthur L. Coad III (Kim) of Lake St; and her great grandchildren, Brandon Baranyi of Bowling Green, KY, Corey Redd of Hendersonville, TN, Mason, Kendall Baranyi of Danville, IN, Cooper Stoces of St. Charles, MO, Matthew, Caleb and Luke Coad of Lake St. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Kosair charities for kids.

“While I was at WKU learning to be a nurse, I worked at the Haven where Ruth lived while I was a CNA. I absolutely adored Ruth. Sometimes I’d just sit with her and yap about whatever. We shared our love for food- Italian food! She always talked about her grandkids and would call me one of her own. I came to visit everyone right before I graduated, Ruth remembered everything about me. She was so happy to see me. Rest in paradise sweet lady! One of my most favorite patients ever!”
