He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Morris and Virginia Liles Morris. He is survived by: his siblings, Patricia Duncan, Lynda Nichols, Donna Gilmore and James Morris; and his son Lovers Lane. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces.
