He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Lester (Marr) and Lee Alexander; and his siblings, Euzada Winn, David Murray Alexander, John Frances Alexander, Merlene Wright, Robert Morris Alexander, Joseph Lee Alexander, Jean Blakeman and Doris Beauchamp.
He is survived by: his wife Velda; his children, Sara Leigh Alexander Dekker (Dale) and David LaMarr Alexander (Alicia); his granddaughters, Margaret Leigh Dekker and Katherine Paige Dekker; and his stepgrandchildren, John, Taylor, Jacob Whitfill and Lindsey Whitfill Shrewsberry. He is also survived by seven step- great grandchildren, and many adoring nieces and nephews.
