He was predeceased by: his father Paul Garrett; and his brothers, Mike Garrett, Robby Garrett and Tony Garrett. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Garrett; his daughter Courtney Price (Chris); his grandchildren, Tinsley and Max Price; his siblings, Kenny Garrett (Sheryl), Mark Garrett (Lisa), Marketta Acree and Rendy Perkins (Ronnie Joe); his sister-in-law Bonnie Richie (Dale); and his nieces and nephews, Brandy Acree, Christy Grider, Jodi Dubree, Kena Flanary, Mahogany Staples, McShane Garrett, Mica Dubree, Molly Caswell, Robby Acree, Sarah Morgan, Travis Garrett and Trigg Perkins.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
