She was predeceased by: her parents, Augustus Ray Ellis and Mary Magdalene Gentry; her husband Leland Miles Tilghman, Sr.; and her sister Linda Henderson. She is survived by: her children, Teresa Lewis (Billy), Robert Reese (Melissa), Lee Tilghman, Jr., Kerri Thomas and Paul Tilghman (Kira); and her siblings, John Ellis, Lisa Thomas (Keith), Julie Hooser (Steve), Cheryl Gross and Marcia Poli (Gabe). She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
