We announce the death of Walter Edward Thomas Jr. (Bowling Green, Kentucky), who passed away on June 9, 2026, at the age of 87. Walter will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Edward Thomas, Sr. and Ruth Kelly Thomas; his siblings, Marcia Scarborough, Virginia Grace Thomas and James Thomas of Nashville; and his son-in-law Neal Adams of Bowling Green.

He is survived by: his wife Jean Thomas; his daughters, Mary Jane Adams and Catherine Delpont (Chad); his sister Sandra Cole; his grandchildren, Jonathon Adams (Bailey), Cameron Adams (Laura), Tucker Delpont and Grady Delpont; and his great grandchildren, Beck, Ivy, Lane Adams and Teresa Anderson Thompson of Bowling Green.
