It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Albrecht Laughlin (Bowling Green, Kentucky), who passed away on December 22, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alyce Dingley and Thomas T. Laughlin; and his siblings, Nancy and Dr. Tom Laughlin, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Tamara (Ryan Ledwith) of Darien, CT, William A. Laughlin Jr. (Beth) of Rumney, NH and Scott (Ingrid) of Spartanburg, NC.; and his brother Robert (Susan) of Santa Barbara, CA.. He is also survived by grandchildren, one great-grandson.
He constantly sang and hummed and, even deep into his journey with Alzheimer's, could often be seen tapping his fingers or nodding his head to music only he, and God, could hear.
