He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonsus Ryan and Christine Ryan of Pittsburgh, PA; and his sister Eileen Burnette (Clyde) of Virginia Beach, VA.. He is survived by: his wife Brenda White Ryan; his sons, Michael (Beverly) of Bowling Green, KY and Jonathan (Mandy) of Walling, TN.; his grandchildren, Taylor, Makenzie, Camden and Jackson; and his sister Colleen Selario (Sam) of Pittsburgh, PA..
