She was predeceased by: her parents, James Theodore and Jessie Evelyn Bacon (Waddell); her brothers, Royce, Charlie, Wendell and Kevin Bacon; and her grandson Michael Anthony Howard.

She is survived by: her husband Albert Lynn Howard; her children, Jamie Compton (Lacy) and James Howard; and her grandchildren, Darrell Ward, Selina Denton, Caterina Boren, Natasha Cook, Leslie, Waverly Compton, Hailee, Steven Nava, Vanessa and Autumn Howard. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of the Hager Funeral Home (633 Bland St, Brandenburg, KY 40108). A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery.
