She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Shepard and Pearl Shepard (Childers); her husband Donald McDaniel; her son Michael McDaniel; and her siblings, Carl Shepard, Preston Shepard, Charlie Shepard, Jr., Hillary Shepard, Lois Carter, Nyla Emory, Daisy Hardin and Gladys Cardwell.

She is survived by: her children, Donna F. Rowan (John), Barbara Gale Banks (Russell) and Robert Steven McDaniel (Lou Ann); her grandchildren, Todd Kleinhelter, Michelle Klein, Samantha Basham, Nicci Gillentine, Mike McDaniel, Patricia Durbin and C. J. McDaniel; her great grandchildren, Chloe McDaniel, Aly, Payton, Patrick, Molly Durbin and Emily McDaniel; and her great great grandchild Deliahla Mattingly.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hager Funeral Home (633 Bland St, Brandenburg, KY 40108).
