With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gerald Wooldridge of Brandenburg, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Wilbert Wooldridge and Louise Hicks Wooldridge; and his wife Gloria Jean Ottersbach Wooldridge. He is survived by: his son Richard "Rick" Rivera (Cathie) of Louisville, KY; his sisters, Bonnie Meeks of Deputy, IN and Debra "Debbie" Clark (Steve) of New Salsbury, IN; his grandchildren, Brandon Rivera (Renee), Amanda Weddington (Tyler), Brian Rivera, Mikayla Rivera-Chadwell (Devyn) and Hunter Rivera; and his nephew Chris Clark. He is also survived by nine great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home (198 Lawrence St, Brandenburg, KY 40108). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 23rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
