He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dowell and Minnie Ileene Dowell; and his siblings, William Edward Dowell and Betty Gene Dowell. He is survived by: his wife Marolyn Ross Dowell; his siblings, Faye Dowell, Norma Lee Morgan, Tammy Haynes (Spanky), Jim Dowell (Jodi) and Bob Dowell (Glenda); his daughter Mary Williams (Chris); and his stepdaughters, Jennifer Clark (Jay), Jacki Brown (Jason) and Jodi Wilkins (Charlie). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
