It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Miller Schmidt of Brandenburg, Kentucky, who passed away on September 20, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Skillman and Susie Skillman (Miller); her husband Robert E. Schmidt; and her brother Larry Skillman. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Fisher (Brian Coomes), Charlotte Benham (Rodney Switzer) and Chris Schmidt (Jodi); her grandchildren, Erica Hager (Nathan), Derek Benham (Kim), Cammeron Fisher (Alexa), Lauren Johnson (Josh), Savannah Schmidt (Jaad) and Christian Schmidt; her great grandchildren, Jade Hager, Easton Benham, Marlee Hager, Josiah Hager and Adlee Jo Benham; and her sister Suzanne Osborne (Bobby).
