Joann Marie Bruner Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joann Marie Bruner of Brandenburg, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 19, 2025 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joann Marie Bruner to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Lawrence and Lillian Marie Vessels (Lorenz); and her husband Robert Bruner. She is survived by: her children, Teri Dugan (David), Diane Burnett (David), Jim Bruner (Yo), BeeDee Whelan, Joey Bruner (Leigh Ann), Steven Bruner (Renee), Theo Bruner, Holly and Trey Richardson; and her siblings, Bill Vessels (Kathy), Marilyn Matthews (P. D.) and Geraldine Kingstone. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A vigil service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Hager Funeral Home (633 Bland St, Brandenburg, KY 40108). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Apostle Catholic Church (515 Broadway St, Brandenburg, KY 40108).
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hosparus of Central Kentucky.
