He was predeceased by: his father George "Roy" Claycomb; and his brother Bill Claycomb. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Jo Decker Claycomb; his sons, David Claycomb (Tammy) of Louisville, KY, Kevin Claycomb (Carla) of Elizabethtown, KY and Brian Claycomb (Stephanie) of Brandenburg, KY; his sisters, Sarah Rhorer (Jackie) of London, KY, Ruth Lancaster (Ray) of Louisville, KY and Dorothy Lax of West Point, KY; and his pet Rebel. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren.
