She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Brown and Margaret Mary "Blondie" Metcalf Brown; her former husband Larry Hager; her niece Margaret Ann Byerley; and her pet Cassie.
She is survived by: her daughter Megan O'Leary of Louisville; and her sisters, Lois Byerley (Paul) of Louisville, Margaret Bennett (Michael), June Brown of Brandenburg, Deanna Simcoe (John) and Mary Michelle Yager of Elizabethtown. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the University of Louisville School of Medicine for Cancer Research or to Hosparus of Central Kentucky.
