He is survived by: his wife Carol Karstens; his children, Josh Karstens (Brie) and Vanessa Karstens; his stepchildren, Symantha Bowles (Tim) and Matt Daniels (Danielle); and his siblings, Kirk Karstens (Sherrie), Dale Karstens and Sherri Gayken. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, and 7 step-great-grandchildren.
