Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lena Pearl Thompson of Brandenburg, Kentucky, who passed away at the age of 81, on February 20, 2024. She was predeceased by : her parents, John Adams and Aleatha Adams-Floyd (Pack); her stepfather Frank Floyd; her husband Alvin D. Thompson, Sr.; and her brothers, James "Doc" Adams and Wayne Adams.

She is survived by : her children, Alvin D. "Ooner" Thompson, Jr. (Debbie) and Angela F. Laslie (Barry); her granddaughters, Kelli Brown (Jimmy) and Kristina Powell (Cliff); her great grandchildren, Mac Powell, Tucker, Kase and Allie Brown; and her brother Phillip Adams (Shirley). She is also survived by three nephews.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to New Brandenburg Southern Baptist Church.
