She was predeceased by: her parents, Ila Mae Bennett Riggs and Charles Lester Riggs; her husband Steven Wayne Murphy; her siblings, Roger Riggs and Audrey Carlton; and her son Joey Benham.
She is survived by: her sons, Kelly Benham (Sam), Troy Benham (Maria) and Eric Murphy; her grandchildren, Taylor Benham (Annmarie) and Tanner Benham (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Harlan and Mason Benham; her siblings, Kathy Beard (Mike), Karen Morgan (Justin), Vanessa Wright (David), Covanna Haley (Tim), Leslie Riggs and Charles Chism (Tracey); and her close friend Danny Gill. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
