She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bled Wardrip and Lillian Francis Carwile Wardrip; her son Dana Edward Coates; and her brother Richard Wardrip. She is survived by: her brothers, Herbert, William and Charles; her son Richard "Todd" Coates (Maria) of Port Orange, FL; her grandchildren, Summer Coates, Tabitha Coates, Dylan Busch, Samantha Coates and Joshua Coates; her stepgrandchildren, Lillian and Kailynn; and her sisters, Marilyn Rupp (Gary) of Shepherdsville, KY and Lois Durbin of Guston, KY. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
