He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward James Munro and Mildred Jane Totten; his stepfather Robert Goodrich; and his brother Edward. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his son Rustin Munro; and his granddaughters, Kimberly, Olivia, Jasmine and Zoie.
