He was predeceased by: his parents, Galeard McDowell and Nedra McDowell; and his brother-in-law Bob Goodlett. He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Scott McDowell (Dee), Chad McDowell (Christy) and Holly Wright (Gene); his grandchildren, Noah (Kecillia), Kayla, Eli (Victoria), Eden, Brendan (Autumn) and Jake; his great grandchildren, Harper, Romie, Malani and Ronnie; and his siblings, Glenda Goodlett, Donna Beauchamp (Bill) and Mike McDowell (Doris). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
