She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Marchthaler and Agnes Marchthaler; and her husband Bob Schrader. She is survived by: her children, Daniece Jones (Larry) of Louisville, KY, Richard Schrader of Vine Grove, KY and Robert Schrader (Leanna) of Scottsville, KY; and her sister Elke Marchthaler of Germany. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

“Through her battle with cancer. She was kind enough to allow me to sit with her during the treatments she took in beginning. I am so thankful for those times and loved hearing all the stories she would tell from her childhood in Germany up to coming to the states and raising her kids. I feel like we bonded more in that short time than in all the years I had known her. It was then I could tell underneath that tough attitude was one of the strongest women I have ever known. Love you always Linda!”
