He is survived by: his pet Tye; his caregiver Yvonne Sanders; his children, Willard Matthews, Jr. of Biloxi, MS, Amy Matthews of Biloxi, MS, Cary Matthews of Louisville, KY, Mike Matthews of Payneville, KY and Jess Matthews of Bloomfield, KY; and his stepdaughters, Deborah Carwile and Melissa Taylor of Brandenburg. He is also survived by several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
