He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Ploss and Hannah Elizabeth Salo Ploss; his wife Cathaline Thompson Ploss; his great grandchild Dino Santuccione; and his sister Nancy Alexander.
He is survived by: his children, Jolene Bariteau (Dave) of New York, Charlene Healey (James) of New York and Nadene Holley (Danny) of Edmonton, KY; his stepdaughters, Connie Makranszky of Breeding, KY, Cindy Ploss of Columbia, KY and Mary Merlin (Tim) of Richmond, KY; his son Greg Perkins of Columbia, KY; and his sisters, Phyllis Brooks of New York, Janice Lynch (Jim) of New York and Betty Nadler of New York. He is also survived by six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, eight step grandchildren, and seven step great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home (210 Greensburg St, Columbia, KY 42728). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
