He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Smith and Alvena Dillender; his brothers, James Smith and Larry Smith; and his granddaughters, Andrea Smith and Bethany Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sue Smith; his children, Dana Phillips (Randy) and Kevin "Andy" Smith (Jessica); his grandchildren, Steven Phillips (Alysia), Heath Phillips (Abigail), Ryan Phillips, Dylan Smith (Alexis) and Emily Nestlehutt (Toby); his siblings, Billy Smith (Vicki) and Margaret Ann Moore (Mike); and his stepmother Margaret Lois Smith. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
