She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sowder and Worth Albright Sowder; her husband Scott Duffy Masters Jr.; and her brother-in-law Joe Plummer. She is survived by: her children, John Masters (Jenny), Jennifer Ponder (Brian), Jensen Masters (Gina) and Jenise Coffey (David); her grandchildren, Jonathan Masters (Danielle), Hope Thompson (Jeremiah), Jared Masters (Emiley), Emily Saylor (Austin), Joseph Coffey, Lance Coffey and Kathryn Coffey; her great grandchildren, Jayla, McCall, Grant, Jenna, Brooks, Addison, Luke and Conrad; her sisters, Linda Sowder Whitt and Cynthia Sowder Bowling; her grandsons, Logan, Justice, Jett and Jaken; Betty Shafer Singleton. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Brodhead Baptist Church (360 Silver St, Brodhead, KY 40409). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
