He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Smith and Fannie Marie Gibbons Smith; and his granddaughter Brittany Nichole Cash. He is survived by: his children, Gail Elizabeth Adams of Crab Orchard and Bruce Lee Smith of Livingston, His; his grandchildren, Jaylen Cash, Matthew River and John Luke Adams; his siblings, Tony Smith (Tambra) of Livingston, Beverly Cash (Darrell) of Eubank and Georgie Shumate (Del) of Livingston; and his close friend John Earl Shackleford.
