He is survived by : his mother Minnie Mae Hopkins (Barnes) of Brodhead, KY; his children, James Dakota Kirk of Mt. Sterling, KY, Gabriel Kirk of Celebration, FL and Jesse Hollin of Somerset, KY; his grandchildren, Hadley and Braxton; and his sister Lisa Diane Stewart (Larry).
