It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeff Phelps of Brodhead, Kentucky, born in Richmond, Kentucky, who passed away on July 10, 2025, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Robert "Bobby" Phelps; and his grandparents, R. E., Freda Phelps, Dewey and Zora Robbins.
He is survived by: his mother Bronnie Steele (David) of Mt. Vernon; his wife Stephanie Phelps; his children, Austin Phelps of Somerset and Kayla Adkins of Berea; his stepson Ellis Hines of Mt. Vernon; his siblings, Patty Seals of Madison County, Victoria Cook (Darren) of Madison County, Stephanie Smith (Kyle) of Manchester, Zora Steele of Orlando and Dustin Phelps (Katelyn) of Wilmington, NC.; and his grandson Lincoln Raider.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home (148 W Main St, Brodhead, KY 40409). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Marvin E Owens Home (148 W Main St, Brodhead, KY 40409).
