We are sad to announce that on November 18, 2025, at the age of 85, Lois Bishop (Brodhead, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Barnett and Virgie Barnett; her daughter Lois Darlene Bishop; her siblings, Eugene, Bob, Benny Barnett and Mary Burris; her son-in-law John Brock; and her pet Molly.
She is survived by: her husband Richard A. Bishop; her children, Brenda Brock, Donna Bishop (Phillip Payne), Johnny Bishop and Tonya Owens (David); her nephew Bobby Burris (Michelle); her grandchildren, Zach Gentry, Kayla Leger (Jason), Travis Brock, Brian Owens, Breanna Brock, Mary Isaacs (Hunter) and John Bishop Jr. (Courtney); her great grandchildren, Jacob Leger, Konnor Leger, Emma Leger, Westin Bishop and Paislee Isaacs; and her sister Charlene Barnett. She is also survived by grandmother, and great grandmother to her family.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Marvin E Owens Home.
