It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ricky Brummett (Brodhead, Kentucky), who passed away on April 11, 2026, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Brummett and Rovena Johnson Brummett; his children, Elizabeth Hood and Joey Brummett; and his brother Danny Brummett.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Brummett; his children, Misty Pennington (Ethan), April Denney, Valarie Coleman (Derrick), Veronica Jones and Ricky Bishop; and his siblings, Gary, Wayne, Timmy Brummett, Karen Wheldon, Jennifer Lewis and Kathy Widmeyer. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
