We announce the death of Barbara E. Hurst of Bronston, Kentucky, who passed away on June 21, 2026, at the age of 81. Barbara will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Barbara will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Barbara’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. C. G. Estes and Laura Estes; her husband Dale Hurst; and her son Chan Dale Hurst. She is survived by: her daughters, Kammy Hurst Dyer and Tara Hurst; and her grandchild Kelsey Wells (Tucker).
